For the period October 1 2019 to March 28, 2020 the CDC estimate between 39,000,000 and 55,000,000 cases, between 18,000,000 and 26,000,000 medical visits, between 400,000 and 730,000 hospitalizations and between 24,000 and 63,000 deaths. This in the USA only.
So what I dont understand is why the huge discrepancy in numbers. Why dont they post the actual numbers? Covid or not 24k - 63k deaths seem like a number big enough to want to be accurate with this.
Just curious what others think the reason is these numbers are thrown around so loosely
